This year’s annual Trunk or Treat on October 19th was an unforgettable evening of fun and community spirit! Instead of hosting the event solo, we teamed up with JC Harmon High School’s Student Council and National Honor Society students, along with Grounded Sole and New City Church, and moved the festivities to JC Harmon High School. This partnership allowed us to expand our activities and offer even more for families to enjoy.
The Student Council and National Honor Society students went all out, transforming the gym into a fun zone with games, cool prizes, and even a "not-so-scary" haunted house, which was a big hit with kids and parents alike! Outside, over 30 trunks from community members lined up to hand out treats, each one decorated with its own spooky or whimsical theme. Eagles Nest came through with extra candy and goodies, ensuring no one left empty-handed, while New City Church handed out free cotton candy. We also had two delicious food trucks to keep everyone fueled up for the evening’s fun.
Your Unforgettable kept the party going with a fantastic DJ and photo booth, giving families a chance to capture memories from the night. With massive crowds—more than 600 people came through—there was energy and excitement in every corner. We’ve been hearing amazing feedback from everyone who attended, with so many people raving about the fun, the festive atmosphere, and how much this event means to our community.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this year’s Trunk or Treat our biggest and best yet! We’re grateful to our partners, volunteers, and everyone who showed up to celebrate with us. Looking forward to seeing you next year for even more fun!
