The Argentine Betterment Corporation is proud to welcome Raymond East to its Board of Directors.

With almost 40 years of experience as a business leader, Raymond brings a proven understanding of what it takes to build strong communities—through consistent investment, local commitment, and long-term focus.

A U.S. Air Force veteran who served in public affairs, Raymond developed a disciplined foundation in communication, community engagement, and strategic messaging—experience that continues to shape his leadership and community work today.

At the core of his approach is a simple belief: the people are everything.

Those principles are already evident in his work within Argentine.

Many in the community may already recognize Raymond—from neighborhood clean-up days, his involvement in the Argentine 5K, serving as MC at the annual Silver Days Parade, and his presence at a wide range of local events. He is not just working in Argentine—he is actively part of it.

Raymond has been a hands-on community partner, bringing unique and valuable experience managing successful public-private partnerships while working alongside small business owners, residents, and local leaders to create meaningful, day-to-day impact from within.

While he never truly stepped away from ABC—remaining actively involved through special projects, support efforts, and volunteer work—this marks Raymond’s second stint serving on the Board, reflecting his ongoing commitment to the organization and the Argentine community.

“Argentine is a community that shows up—for each other, for local businesses, and for its future,” said East. “I’ve been fortunate to be part of that firsthand, and I’m looking forward to continuing the work in a way that’s practical, collaborative, and focused on real results.”

What stands out most is his perspective:

Argentine does not lack potential—it is ready for alignment, execution, and sustained momentum.

ABC is excited to add Raymond’s practical, real-world experience to the board as we continue supporting small businesses, strengthening partnerships, and activating opportunities across the corridor.

Because when investment in people and place is done right, growth follows—and in Argentine, that starts with a shared understanding that the people are everything.

We are grateful to have Raymond on board—and confident in what we will build together.
