Recently, Argentine Betterment Corporation (ABC), attended the Community Capital Fund's award breakfast, where we celebrated the 2024 grant recipients of the Neighborhood Rising Fund (NRF). The NRF grant is a vital source of local funding dedicated to supporting neighborhood-led initiatives in the Greater Kansas City Area.
This year, ABC applied for funding to launch a new Block Leader program in Argentine. With this support, we aim to provide comprehensive training and resources over the next two years to establish and grow this program.
Block Leaders play a crucial role in our community, fostering a sense of connectedness and unity among residents. By facilitating communication, organizing events, and addressing local concerns, these leaders help strengthen the fabric of our neighborhood. We are enthusiastic about the potential of the Block Leader program to enhance community engagement and improve the quality of life for everyone in Argentine.
